We like the new Philadelphia Information Services Group. It is for any members (presumably in the Philadelphia area) looking to move from their current situation or company, share interests and network together. You should check it out!
Forming an industry, profession or location specific Group is a good way for SOHOMaven members to communicate with each other, discuss project requirements, and their networking needs. These types of groups serve a very necessary Project/Job Board function. As you may know, many solo practitioners and small businesses come across opportunities to bid on large complex projects. But they are often lacking specific expertise—or manpower—in a material project component. In order to compete, SOHO’s need strategic vendor partners or new hires (temporary, part-time, or full-time) to fulfill vital project capabilities. We are committed to providing as many tools as possible to help you in this regard.
Currently, the SOHOMaven development team is working on the final touches for Group discussion threads to help facilitate networking and project interaction—due for release prior to our long awaited LAUNCH!
Please let us know your thoughts and how we can better serve you.
