The SOHOMaven community provides a unique place to interact, share ideas, promote our SOHO businesses and inspire one another.  You help make it what it is!  Just like any other community, it includes people from a wide range of backgrounds, experiences and tastes. For everyone’s benefit, we are committed to enforcing these guidelines:
 

1. Mind your Manners.  Be polite and respectful in your interactions with other members.  While SOHOMaven embraces the spirit of debate and civil disagreement—personal threats, harassment, name-calling, or any other abusive acts are not allowed.
    
2. Be a Good Egg.  Don’t publish any content in the community that is not yours (or illegal).  Do not violate the privacy of others.  Bad Eggs will have their content deleted and may have their membership suspended or terminated.
    
3. Be a Maven. A Maven is a trusted expert in a particular field, who seeks to pass his or her knowledge on to others. Make our community a richer place by sharing your experience and insight.  Mavens are also reputed to be professional advisors, mentors, guides, gurus, connoisseurs, aficionados, adepts, masters, pundits, maestros, savants, wizards, aces, bon vivants, virtuosos.
    
4. Spread the Word.  You may also link back to SOHOMaven when you post your SOHOMaven content elsewhere.  However, any pages on other web sites that do display content hosted on SOHOMaven must provide a link back to its page on SOHOMaven.com.
    
5. We Love to Participate.  Our staff enjoys interacting with Maven Members and will stop by the forums to listen to your ideas and share updates.  The Maven boards are not intended, however to post programming bugs or solicit administrative action.  Please email  those requests directly to:
    
6. Moderate your Content.  SOHOMaven does not edit content posted by members to our Community. SOHOMaven, in our sole discretion, may take action against Members who post material or engage in activity that violates these guidelines, Terms of Use Agreement, Copyright Policy, or is otherwise objectionable. Such action may include, without notice, termination of your account and everything associated with it.
