Sohomaven was born from the idea of helping Small Office/Home Office folks to increase their web presence. Whether it be a fledgling start-up in someone’s basement or a second “dream” job in the evening, Mike and I wanted to help those folks get connected to customers and other SOHO people using the tools we created.
Having been SOHO practitioners for over a decade, Mike and I understand the challenges and benefits to small business and the SOHO lifestyle. The community aspect of the site was added to help people with questions they might have about starting, maintaining or selling for a small business while the lifestyle side was to help the always connected SOHO people find work/life balance.
